Atiku’s son recovers from coronavirus after 40 days


Mohammed Atiku-Abubakar, a son of Nigeria’s former vice-president, has recovered from coronavirus after 40 days in isolation centre.

According to Premium Times, Mohammed disclosed on Monday afternoon.

“I have just received my second consecutive negative result. My discharge is currently being processed, and I hope to be home this evening,” he was quoted as saying.

Mohammed was confirmed to have contracted the virus on March 19th and was subsequently transferred to an isolation centre on the outskirts Abuja.
