French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe will speak from Matignon on Thursday, May 7 at 4 p.m.

He will give an update on, May 11, to ends lockdown in france.

Which will mark the beginning of deconfinement, department by department, this will depend on the presence of the virus, with a “green” or “red” and according to the level of the coronavirus epidemic.

He will be accompanied by several members of the government: Elisabeth Borne (Ecological transition), Olivier Véran (Health), Christophe Castaner (Interior), Bruno Le Maire (Economy), Muriel Pénicaud (Work) and Jean-Michel Blanquer (Education).

Several subjects crystallize the attention to 4 days of the expected unlocking of the country, which must be done in a “progressive” and “differentiated” way, according to the Prime Minister:

The conditions of reopening of nursery and elementary schools, the resumption of public transport , returning to businesses or the possibility of traveling within a radius of 100 km in particular.

After May 11, the executive has set a new stage on June 2 which could allow, if the conditions are met, to amplify the deconfinement.
