 The minister of information Lai Mohammed has urge the federal government to regulate the social media

According to the minister “social media is a tool used by protesters to fight the ‘war’ #endsars

So it is very vital to regulate some of its excess uses; how ever the government is not planning to shut it down because social media is a welcome development” 

He made this statements on Tuesday when he appeared before the House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values to defend the 2021 budget proposed by his ministry.
