A curfew has been issued at Brooklyn center by the–Mayor in Minneapolis city of Minnesota~details below


In Mayor Mike Elliots’s statement “I understand this has been a long week for our Brooklyn center residents however it is important to keep everyone safe”.
The curfew which began at 11 p.m on Monday is said to last until 6 a.m on Tuesday
Following the death of a 20 years-old Daunte Wright who was shot dead by police officer Kim Potter during a traffic stop over a week ago
There have been nightly demonstrations at the Brooklyn center Police Department.
Law enforcement from several agencies, including the BCPD, Minnesota National Guard, Minnesota State Patrol and others have been stationed at the department
Some night away authorities clashed with protesters where hundreds were arrested the previous week’s rallies
Although many were released without charges
Kim Potter was charged with second degree manslaughter. She and police chief Tim Gannon both resigned after Wright’s death.
