 The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had on Yesterday pressure the Muhammadu Buhari led administration to keen in to the electronic transmission of Electoral results 

The meeting of the PDP Governor’s Forum, which held in Bauchi State yesterday, had called on the National Assembly to ensure that the electronic transmission of results clause is included in the ongoing electoral act amendment.

The PDP Governors also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to liaise with other government agencies to ensure that all polling units across the nation have access to network connections during the general election — to ensure that all results are transferred electronically.

According to the governors this welcome development will administer and devalue the mindset of election rigging in the country. 

While speaking, the governor of Delta State added that, the electronic transmission of results clause will enhance true democracy to strive, he said.
