Taraba youth vows to retaliate as flood from Cameron dam destroyed houses and properties~details below
Number of buildings, cars, communities and many others were destroyed from the effect of flood at the Taraba state capital Jalingo.
According to report, over 400 houses and properties were shattered following the flood that came all the way from Labdo Cameron which started on Saturday morning with heavy downpour.
However, no casualty had been accounted so far residents it was a terrible experience as many residents remain homeless and helpless.
Nevertheless the residents has cried to notable authorities for help. The Red cross officials arrived the scene to provide emergency services and help relocate the affected residents.
The residents of the flooded communities called on federal government to assist in relocation and rehabilitation and help provide relief materials to calm the trauma they passed through over loses.
Further more, Nasiru Noboji Chairman of Jalingo local government, has lay appealed to the Federal Government to collaborate with Cameroon, in order to re-channel the Labdo dam to avoid further future destruction.
However, the Taraba youth vows to retaliate if any casualty is accounted.
