The former chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Attahiru Jega has called on Nigerians not to cast their votes for All Progressive Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the next coming general election in 2023.
Recall that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had recently blast Attahiru Jega to stop abusing them in launching his political career.
Jega who spoke at a news conference on Monday said “the All Progressives Congress and the People’s Democratic Party has failed Nigerians and has no good intentions for the country”
“Nigerians should ignore both parties they are both in collaboration because it is same people who have been on power for many years that are still leading the country”
According to Jega, he said that “over twenty years Nigeria had not witnessed any progress from these two parties so why keep on voting them in power? He said.
“I will advise Nigerians not to give their votes to any parties, APC or PDP politicians they don’t deserve it, he said.
While speaking he said, he has no intention now or sometime in the future to decamp to any of both parties.
Additionally the former INEC chairman opined that, although his political ambition is not to be ignored he still has interest in the coming election but not interested in the either parties APC or PDP, he said.
