Enugu State Kidnapping: Dramatic Rescue of Abducted Youths by Herders at Ajalli River

In recent events in Enugu State, Nigeria, three young men from the Akama Oghe community were kidnapped by suspected herders while performing a ritual at Ajalli River in Ezeagu Local Government.

However, one victim managed to escape, leading to the subsequent rescue of the others late Sunday night.

This escape prompted the community to mobilize efforts for their rescue.

Additionally, the Enugu State Police Command’s Hawk Tactical Squad successfully rescued kidnapped travellers along Ette Road in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area on their way to Abuja.

The operatives engaged the hoodlums, resulting in the neutralization of one assailant and the escape of others with gunshot wounds.
