Federal Government Announces 50% Reduction in Interstate Travel Costs for Yuletide Season

While the Nigeria Union of Teachers welcomed the move, the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress criticized it, labelling the government as confused.

Stakeholders, including transport unions, expressed mixed reactions. The National Association of Road Transport Owners emphasized considering operational costs before implementing fare slashes.
