MTN Nigeria Partners FRSC to Temporarily Open Enugu-Onitsha Dual Carriageway for Festive Season

To alleviate congestion during the festive season, MTN Nigeria has collaborated with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to temporarily open Enugu-Onitsha Dual Carriage Way sections in Amawbia, Anambra State.

MTN, the project’s financier, aims to ease the traffic flow for South-East commuters during the Yuletide period.

The initiative, led by Dr Reginald Facah from MTN’s Community Liaison Initiative, focuses on relieving travellers facing heavy gridlock along the Onitsha carriageway.

Despite the project’s partial completion, the opening of these sections aims to mitigate traffic congestion and ensure a smoother travel experience.
