Oshoala recently clinched her sixth CAF Women’s Player of The Year award at the prestigious ceremony in Marrakesh, Morocco. The 29-year-old football sensation showcased stellar performances in the 2023 Women’s World Cup, contributing significantly to Nigeria’s impressive campaign and making history as the first female African player to score at three World Cups.

Her exceptional form continued at the club level, where she played a pivotal role in Barcelona Feminine’s triumphant LaLiga and UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigns, netting an impressive 21 goals in the league.
