Governor Sanwo-Olu Supports Teach For Nigeria in Tackling Educational Inequity

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu welcomed Wendy Kopp, founder of Teach For America, and the Board and Management of Teach For Nigeria, including CEO Folawe Omikunle and Board Chairman Mr. Kunle Elebute, to the Lagos House, Marina. They discussed the Teach For Nigeria fellowship program, a two-year, full-time, paid commitment to address educational inequity in Nigeria. The program collaborates with the Lagos State Ministry of Education, placing fellows in high-need schools.
