Elon Musk’s Social Media Company X Considers Removing Likes and Repost Counts

Elon Musk revealed that his social media company X is considering removing likes and repost counts from posts.

He mentioned this during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference on Wednesday, March 7. Musk also mentioned that X is close to obtaining a money transmitter license in New York.

Musk acquired Twitter in 2022 and has since announced significant changes, envisioning it as an “everything app” for messaging, banking, and shopping.
