Nigerian Labour Congress proposes a minimum wage of N709,000

Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) during a public hearing in Abuja presented different figures for the new minimum wage.

The NLC requested N709,000, whereas the TUC advocated N447,000, citing present economic realities.

Some states did not provide a figure, however Plateau State proposed N81,000.
