Vanessa Bryant hugs daughters as she celebrates her first birthday since losing Kobe
It’s been three months since she lost husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash.
But Vanessa Bryant daughters Natalia, Bianka and Capri made sure that her 38th birthday didn’t pass without notice, as the trio bonded together to present her with a gorgeous array of flowers.
She shared the elegant display and embraced her loving daughters in a photo she posted to Instagram on Tuesday.
‘Thx to my girls for ordering these flowers and piñatas for mama. ❤️,’ she wrote, adding a birthday cake emoji and the hashtags, ‘#CincodeMayo,’ ‘#TacoTuesday’ and ‘#micumpleaños,’ or ‘my birthday.’
In the image, a smiling Vanessa embraced her three surviving daughters, against a backdrop of flowers.
Fittingly, the girls included an array of piñatas hung from the palm trees surrounding the fountain to celebrate the Mexican holiday.
Her eldest daughter, 17-year-old Natalia, towered over her at 5ft10 while wearing a white long sleeve graphic shirt and distressed jean cut-off jean shorts.
Bianka, three, looked cute in a white dress covered in floral designs, and Vanessa had decked out her youngest, 10-month-old Capri, in a pink dress that her daughter Gianna, aka Gigi, wore as a baby.
The girls had filled the fountain with hot pink and red roses, while decorating the points of the fountain with pale pink and crimson flowers.
Vanessa shared a closeup photo of the water-speckled flowers as they floated on the water.
She also shared a sweet birthday note that Natalia wrote for her special day.
‘You are the strongest person I know and I am so grateful to have you as my mom!’ she wrote, adding, ‘I will always be the Ethel to your Lucy!’
