Mr Festus keyamo, Nigeria minister of State for Labour and Employment has lamented over the remix of the song “Nigeria Jagajaga” by the artist “Eedris  Abdulraheem”.

The minister during the weekend said that Eedris accused him of dinning with the cabas governing the country

He alleged that the song also criticized president Muhammadu Buhari’s government for describing it as “Democracy Military” and the involvement of the military during the endsars protest.

The song “Nigeria Jagajaga” which was released a couple of weeks with a video for the first time questioned the position of the Minister (Festus Keyamo) in the president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, saying “where Festus Keyamo sef? He Don dey chop with the cabas oh.

The Minister accused Eedris of singling him out in the song the Minister disclosed this in his Twitter handle that” the artist decided to take his pound a flash on him because he refused him of N3 million in 2018.

Keyamo further accused the artist of alleged extortion, saying that Eedris approached him when he was named minister of Director of Strategic Communication in 2018 for Buhar campaign organization and wanted to join the group for a fee.

According to keyamo “he told the artist that he had no budget for such, Eedris then twisted to concluding that he wanted a loan to pay for his hotel bills to the sum of N1.3 million and to cater for his” sick mother”

which was already running into more than N3million but at this point I knew he was a desperate hustler who could embarrass me so I ignored him”

In response to the “chopping allegation” by Eedris, the Minister opined that, his reference to me as “chopping” to me remind me of the gaffe of then Minister Sunday Afolabi who infamousl said that “Bola Ige was invited to government to “come and chop”.

“I wish to assure Eedris and anyone who thinks being in government is tantamount to “chopping” (that for some of us I can’t speak for others)

It is just an honour to serve our country and attempt to move from armchair criticism to a real participant in other to make a difference.

“finally, we can all sit back and enjoy the jagajaga reloaded” one of the objects of the song is to call me out since I ghosted him for attempted extortion, he has now succeeded in

Another objectives is to help promote the song by my reaction that… he has also achieved”.
