Popular business man “Obi Cubana” has been invited by EFCC~details below
The South Eastern part of Nigeria successful business man Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known by his social media name as Obi Cubana has been invited for questioning by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Recall Obi Cubana was the talk of the day after he did his mother’s Burial with five hundred cows few months back the highest burial so far in the history of nigeria.
According to report Obi Cubana has arrived the headquarters of the anti-graft agency at noon on Monday, November 1, 2021. He was said to undergo thorough interrogation.
The successful entrepreneur was invited over alleged money laundering, although the EFCC spokesman said he had not been briefed over his invitation.
According to report, the Anambra-born club owner, who arrived the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja, at noon on Monday is currently being interrogated by operatives of the commission.
However, allegations against the socialite were sketchy as of press time, the newspaper cited a source as disclosing that his case borders on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
The source noted that, “Obi Cubana was arrested and brought to the EFCC headquarters on Monday afternoon over allegations of money laundering and tax fraud. He is being grilled by detectives as we speak.”
Meanwhile, the EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said he’s yet to be briefed on the development.
