Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has set his sights on another Champions League final participation with the Spanish giants.

Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, is already looking ahead to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals as he seeks to lead the club to unprecedented success.
It’s the Italian’s second participation in the last four with Los Blancos, but he claims it’s not a triumph for the club.
In his pre-match news conference, Ancelotti told uefa.com that “the pressure (to reach the final) is identical for both sides.”
“Making it to the semi-finals is not a success for us.” It is to reach the final, but in order to do so, we must defeat Manchester City.”
In regards to the match against the Cityzens, the 62-year-old said that his squad must be prepared to defend as a unit rather than ball-watch against Pep Guardiola’s side, which is anticipated to dominate on the ball.
“In the defensive phase, the squad must be compact,” he continued. “The defense will play a huge role tomorrow (today).” We have to defend when City has the ball, and we can’t just monitor the ball. When you win, though, you must attack with your quality.”
Real Madrid and Manchester City are both in excellent form.
Given the quality of the two clubs scheduled to face off, the encounter at the Etihad is expected to be a heated affair.
After an entertaining draw with fellow Premier League rivals Liverpool the previous occasion, City stormed back with a thumping hammering of Dennis Emmanuel’s Watford at the weekend.

Gabriel Jesus, a Brazilian international, was the hero of the show as he was involved in all five of City’s goals, scoring four and setting up Rodri for the fifth.
After a 3-1 win over Osasuna on Wednesday, the visitors, Real Madrid, are on the verge of winning La Liga. Karim Benzema, the team’s star attacker, had a bad day, missing two second-half penalties.
Goals from David Alaba, Marco Asencio, and Lucas Vazquez, though, rescued his blushes.
