On Tuesday, Osun begins the distribution of palliatives.

 The Osun State Government through its palliative board of trustees in association with the Service of Extraordinary Obligations and Territorial Mix, will start the dispersion of the sponsored rice palliative to occupants of the state on Tuesday.

This was made clear in a press release issued by Mr. Kolapo Alimi, Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment. In it, he said that the committee had settled on a method of sharing and that distribution would begin on Tuesday.

As per the delivery, recipients will start to get the rice palliatives as per the time-table ready to catch everybody.

The following was added to it: “The total number of subsidized rice palliatives that will be distributed  is 5,700: 3,000 50kg from the primary bunch of palliatives, and 2,000 700 50kg packs of rice from the 14,000-second clump.

“Also, Osun State has gotten two billion naira out of the five billion naira palliative cash reserved for the state by the Central Government. The palliative committee will determine the payment format and template at the upcoming meeting.

He added, “It very well may be reviewed that the state got 3,000 50kg packs of rice from the national government, and it will be imparted to 2,700 50kg sacks of rice from the subsequent group endorsed. The state still anticipates 11,300 50kg bags of rice and 3,000 metric tonnes of maize, with 14,000 bags beginning tomorrow.
