Rivers tenant arrested by police for stabbing landlord

 Patrick Essien, a middle-aged man, was apprehended on Monday in Rumuiprikon, in the state’s Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, for allegedly stabbing his landlord.

According to reports, Essien’s wife was allegedly being abused when the landlord, identified as Iheanyichukwu America, went to save her.

Portraying the episode on Tuesday, the property manager’s significant other, Chioma, said, “He (Essien) attempted to drag the spouse to go inside with him however my better half said he wouldn’t permit him and that he wouldn’t permit the lady to rest in their home in view of the circumstance.

My husband insisted that the woman sleep in his family’s house so that we would know what to do in the morning. So he moved the lady out of their home.

“Then around 12 PM, the man came to go after my significant other during the time spent coming to check assuming his better half was in our home, however she was not there.”

In a similar vein, Gladys Bardey, the elder sister of the landlord, referred to the tenant’s actions as an attempt at murder.

For her brother’s benefit, she demanded that the matter be taken to court.

Additionally, the property manager’s senior sister, Gladys Bardey, portrayed the occupant’s activity as an endeavored murder.

She requested that the matter be charged to court for her sibling to get equity.

Grace Iringe-Koko, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect, Essien, had been arrested when contacted.

Iringe-Koko, a Director of Police likewise said the landowner was getting clinical consideration in the clinic.

“We know about the matter. The suspect has been captured and he is in our guardianship. An examination is as yet continuous,” she said.
