Bariga Local Council Unveils N6.4 Billion ‘Budget of Consolidation’ for 2024 Fiscal Year

In Bariga Local Council, Lagos, Chairman Kolade Alabi proposed a N6.4 billion budget titled ‘Budget of Consolidation’ aimed at addressing infrastructure deficits and building on past achievements.

Alabi, also the Chairman of the Conference of 57 Local Councils in Lagos State, emphasized their dedication to leaving a lasting legacy despite the limited time left in their administration.

The budget intends to focus on infrastructure development, particularly road reconstruction and expansion, along with the remodelling and expansion of health centres across the council’s wards.

Alabi expressed gratitude to party leaders for their support and highlighted the unity within the council that enabled progress.
