Governor Adeleke’s Proposed Budget Gets Nod from Osun State Assembly

The Osun State House of Assembly recently approved the state’s budget for 2024, totalling N273,908,997,410. The budget passage occurred during a plenary session where the Majority Leader, Mr.

Babajide Kofoworola moved the motion, supported by other members. Prior to this, the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Mr.

Olumide Fatunmise presented the committee’s report for the budget’s third reading. Speaker Prince Adewale Egbedun confirmed that the final bill would be produced and sent to Governor Sen.

Ademola Adeleke for his assent. Governor Adeleke initially presented this budget proposal on Nov. 9, and has now successfully undergone legislative scrutiny and approval.
