Governors Abdulrazaq and Makinde’s Visit to Late Ondo Governor’s Residence Marred by Journalists’ Dispute

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Governor Seyi Makinde visited the late Ondo state governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s home in Ibadan on December 27 to offer condolences.

They arrived around 5:30 pm, meeting with the family members mourning inside. However, the journalists’ presence upset some of the deceased’s children, who demanded their departure, causing tension.

Colleagues intervened, calming the situation. After the visit, the governors addressed the waiting journalists outside the residence.
