Shallipopi has openly declared his stronger affection for his colleague, rapper Odumodublvck, as opposed to his girlfriend. After Odumodublvck’s performance at Davido’s ‘Timeless’ concert, Shallipopi shared a video on X with the caption, “I love @Odumodublvck more than my babe.”

The two artists previously collaborated on ‘Cast,’ the third track from Shallipopi’s debut album, ‘Presido La Pluto.’ Shallipopi gained recognition for his hit single ‘Elon Musk’ released earlier this year.

However, in May 2023, the singer, along with his manager, faced legal trouble for alleged internet-related fraud. They were convicted on June 23 and sentenced to two years in prison, with the option to pay a fine.
