Ministry’s Build-A-Thon: Teaching Positions Open for Tech-Driven Student Initiative
The Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy initiated the Build-A-Thon program, now open for teaching position applications via their “X” handle.
Spearheaded by Minister Bosun Tijani, this initiative aims to drive early technology exposure among senior secondary students. Scheduled for January 2024 across Owerri, Maiduguri, and Abeokuta, the four-day program targets 1,500 students from 150 schools.
Prospective teachers and qualified candidates can apply through the program’s website.
Minister Tijani highlighted the initiative as part of a strategic plan to nurture future innovation leaders by promoting technology adoption, fostering collaborations, showcasing innovation, and encouraging lifelong learning.
