Plateau State Attacks: Tinubu Condemns Violence, Calls for Justice and Urgent Security Response

Tinubu strongly condemns the terrible attacks in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi areas of Plateau State, leading to a tragic loss of many lives. Over 100 people died in attacks on 12 communities in Bokkos, while more than 17 lost their lives in assaults on three communities in Barkin Ladi, home to the Plateau State Polytechnic.

Calling the attacks “primitive and heinous,” Tinubu has directed security agencies to swiftly and thoroughly investigate, ensuring the quick arrest of the culprits. The President emphasizes the urgent need to provide relief resources for surviving victims and immediate medical care for the wounded.

In expressing condolences to the government and people of Plateau State, Tinubu reassures Nigerians that those responsible for these acts of death, pain, and sorrow will face justice.
