Tragedy in Sokoto as Bandits Strike, Leaving One Dead and Six Abducted
In a disturbing incident, suspected armed bandits attacked Tursa village in the wee hours of Tuesday, bringing sorrow and fear to the residents of Rabbah Local Government area in Sokoto State. The attackers, in a midnight assault, claimed the life of at least one person and abducted six others.
The Sokoto State Police Command spokesperson, ASP Ahmed Rufai, revealed the chilling details of the incident, stating that the assailants entered the village and set a room ablaze, tragically burning one person inside. Alongside this horrifying act, they also destroyed two motorcycles and kidnapped six individuals, while stealing an undisclosed number of cows.
