The CNF has questioned Jim obazee for his involvement in Nigeria finances
The Concerned Northern Forum (CNF) has send a warning to Nigerian President, Bola hamed Tinubu about the report that Jim Obazee, the special investigator entrusted with examining the operations of the nation’s top bank under its suspended governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele
The Forum has warn the president that he should be very careful that he should proceed with caution, That he might face some challenges,
The Forum proceeded by saying that, Obazee is unfit to be in charge of such special probe, particularly the finances aspect,in a news release that was signed by its president, Aliyu Muhammad.
Muhammad explained that because of Obazee’s dubious background, he is not fit to look into the CBN or any other financial organization.
He stated that:
“Mr President should heed to the action of firing Jim Obazee by his Predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari who is known to despise and fight corruption.
“Yes, CBN should be probed and investigated, but not by an individual with questionable character, integrity and a tone of corruption cases, graft and misuse of public funds himself.
“Therefore, President Bola Tinubu must not use this report, its basis are as compromised as the author of the report. It is one sided, partial and some of it’s recommendations are fatal to the economic wellbeing of Nigeria,”
