Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola Empowers Osogbo Communities with N48 Million in Interest-Free Loans

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the immediate-past Minister of Interior, recently disbursed N48 million in interest-free loans to market organisations and community groups in Osogbo, marking a significant step towards community development and empowerment.

In addition to the financial assistance, Aregbesola turned on solar streetlights at Oluode and Ajegunle Markets, demonstrating the town’s dedication to improving infrastructure. The former governor praised the Osun Economic Development Team for their efforts to lead programmes that prioritise the welfare and progress of the local community.

The commissioning event was held at Olutimehin Grammar School in Isale-Osun, Osogbo, highlighting the significance of education and communal spaces in the overall development agenda.
