Governor Seyi Makinde Enforces Stricter Regulations on Harmful Substance Storage in Oyo

Oyo State, Nigeria’s Governor Seyi Makinde has issued Executive Order No. 001 of 2024, which addresses the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials in the state.

The directive requires anyone possessing these substances to report them to the police within specific time constraints. There will be legal repercussions for noncompliance under applicable state and federal laws.
