“I Have Always Want to be a Become a lawyer,” – 9ice Reveals

In a recent interview with Iyabo Ojo, the popular Nigerian singer Abolore Adigun, famously addressed as 9ice expressed his desire to be a lawyer before embarking on a music career.

He shared that he is unable to study law because he failed Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) several times.

In his words, “I have always wanted to be a lawyer until now,” he said.

“I spent almost six years JAMB go jam me, I go write another one. This one says I don’t meet the cut off mark, I go do another one. Because of the family I came from, you cannot be a musician.”

The actress, Iyabo Ojo asked him if he ever regretted not becoming a lawyer, he replied thus: “I cannot regret because I am still on it. I must do it, probably not to litigate at a firm, but I can be an entertainment lawyer.”
