APC Mourns Members Lost in Stampede at Customs Office Rice Sale

The All Progressives Congress (APC) mourns the loss of Comfort Adebanjo and six others who tragically died during a stampede at the Nigeria Customs office in Yaba, Lagos.

They were attempting to buy seized rice as the Customs began selling seized food items, including rice, to help alleviate the country’s economic hardship.

The obituary message from the APC confirmed Adebanjo’s death and expressed condolences to her family and the community. Another man was also reported to have been trampled to death in the stampede.
