SHARE

The Nigerian Catholic Bishops’ Conference (CBCN) has expressed disapproval of President Bola Tinubu’s socioeconomic changes, linking them to heightened suffering, poverty, and criminal activity in the country.

They emphasised issues including the exorbitant cost of living, joblessness, and community economic stagnation.

The CBCN called for more proactive steps after expressing unhappiness with the government’s handling of corruption and the economy.

Nonetheless, government representatives supported Tinubu’s administration, pointing to initiatives for national progress and inherited economic difficulties.
