EFCC arraign two more Chinese Expatriates for illegal mining

In the latest reports coming out from Kwara state, the EFCC arraigned two more Chinese Expatriates for illegal mining alongside two accomplices for engaging in illegal mining activities bringing the total number of arrests to 48 over the past two weeks.

The suspects were caught at their mining site in Lagos after being under surveillance by the commission.

One accomplice was transporting minerals without a permit and various items were recovered.

The suspects will soon face charges in court. This arrest follows a similar one in Ogun State involving two Chinese nationals and a Nigerian.
