Kaduna Court Sentences Impostor Posing as EFCC Officer to 3 Years in Jail

A court in Kaduna State has sentenced Abdulazeez Isah to three years in jail for pretending to be an officer from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He was charged by the Kaduna Zonal Command of the EFCC for pretending to be an EFCC staff member.

Isah admitted to financing the production of fake EFCC T-shirts, identity cards, and caps when he was arrested.

He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to three years in prison or a fine of ₦150,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) by Justice A. Isiaka.
