Lagos Waste Authority Urges Eco-Friendly Practices for Cleaner Environment

Muyiwa Gbadegesin, Managing Director of LAWMA, emphasized the importance of eco-friendly practices in Lagos for a cleaner environment.

Following a marine waste inspection at Five Cowrie Creek, he highlighted the threat of single-use plastics to marine life and the violation of Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG14).

Muyiwa Gbadegesin underscored Lagos’ ban on Styrofoams as part of efforts to combat this issue.
