The Governor of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) has Urge The president Bola Tinubu to step down if there is not solution to the problems Nigerians are facing.

In a statement he made by Cyril Maduabum on 17th of February, he emphasized on the problems and challenges most Nigerians are facing saying ‘a hungry man is an angry man’s

The PDP Governor’s reminded the APC-led government that they sought power to solve the problems in Nigeria

“It’s important to understand that although Nigeria is a federation, there is only one economy. The hardship faced by Nigerians isn’t based on tribe, religion, or political party. When people are hungry, they get frustrated. While all levels of government have a role, the federal government, led by the APC, has a big responsibility to gather Nigerians and governments for lasting solutions.

If they can’t handle it, they should admit it.

Criticism from the Minister of Information, APC Governors’ Forum, and others should remember that the APC came to power to fix Nigeria’s problems, not make them worse or shift blame. PDP-led states are among the best in Nigeria regarding development, paying salaries, pensions, and implementing minimum wage.

States struggling with these issues aren’t PDP-led. Even food shortages are worsened by insecurity and high exchange rates, mainly federal matters.

PDP Governors will work with the President to solve problems. We believe in cooperation. Ultimately, the President is responsible for Nigeria’s well-being. We hope his efforts will lead Nigeria out of difficulties soon.”
