Super Eagles Soar: Nigeria Climbs 14 Places in FIFA Rankings After AFCON 2023 Final
Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, have climbed 14 places in the latest FIFA rankings.
Despite losing to Cote d’Ivoire in the final, Nigeria now sits at 28th place globally, making them Africa’s third-highest-ranked team, following Morocco and Senegal.
Cote d’Ivoire also experienced a significant boost, climbing 10 places to 39th, while Angola, defeated by Nigeria in the quarterfinals, emerged as the biggest climbers, advancing 24 places to 93rd.
