The nominated Nigerian artists did not win the Grammy Awards

Five Nigerian musicians were nominated across diverse categories for the 66th Grammy Awards.

Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, and Olamide were among the nominees.

While Burna Boy bagged four nominations, Davido secured three. Asake, Ayra Starr, and Olamide each received one nomination.

However, none of them emerged victorious during the ceremony on February 4.

South African artist Tyla emerged as the winner of the Best African Music Performance category at the 2024 Grammys, surpassing Davido, Asake, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr to claim the accolade.
