Two women step forward with fresh abuse claims against actor Jonathan Majors.

These allegations emerge after Majors was convicted in December of misdemeanor assault and harassment linked to a domestic violence episode involving his former partner, Grace Jabbari, in New York City in March 2023.

In a recent report by the New York Times on Thursday, February 8, detailed testimonies from Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper shed light on their experiences dating the Marvel star. Duncan alleges physical and emotional abuse, while Hooper speaks of emotional mistreatment.

Attorney Priya Chaudhry, representing Majors, acknowledges the relationships were “toxic” and admits Majors made hurtful remarks. However, she refutes many of the claims of physical abuse.

Chaudhry describes the relationships as intense, involving young drama students. Hooper and Majors dated from 2013 to 2015, while his relationship with Duncan spanned from 2015 to 2019.

The relationship with Hooper reportedly included an incident where she became pregnant, and Majors allegedly neglected to accompany her home after dropping her off at an abortion clinic.

Chaudhry states that Hooper and Majors mutually decided to end the pregnancy, which remains a painful memory for Majors.

During his relationship with Duncan, which started during his time at the Yale School of Drama in 2015, Majors is accused of making frequent threats of violence. Duncan claims they were engaged throughout their four-year relationship and recalls an incident where he allegedly threw her across a room.

Chaudhry denies this incident, acknowledging only “many serious arguments.” She asserts that Majors is focusing on addressing his own struggles, including lifelong depression.

Majors’ sentencing hearing in the Jabbari case has been postponed until April 8.
