Actress Rita Dominic Opens Up About Modest Paycheck for Debut Role in Nollywood

Popular Nigerian actress Rita Dominic recently talked about the small amount she got paid for her first acting job. She said in an interview that she only received N10,000 for it.

She explained that when she started acting, there wasn’t much money in the Nigerian film industry, known as Nollywood. But she and others kept going because they loved acting.

She revealed that for her first movie, she was supposed to get N35,000, but the filmmaker only gave her N10,000 and didn’t pay the rest, leaving her struggling financially.
