Autopsy Results for Singer Mohbad Expected in Three to Four Weeks
Dr. Richard Somiari, Director of Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre, stated that the autopsy results for the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, will be ready in three to four weeks.
He made this disclosure during a coroner’s inquest into the singer’s death on March 20. The autopsy aims to determine the cause of Mohbad’s death, which occurred on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, amid controversies.
The Lagos State Government initiated the inquest to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death, which began on October 13, 2023. Dr.
Somiari assured the court that they are exploring various possibilities, including poisoning, to ascertain the cause of Mohbad’s death.
He also emphasized the security and monitoring measures in place to ensure the integrity of the autopsy results, including the storage and transportation of samples.
