Bus Driver Arrested After Fatal Accident Involving 10-Year-Old in Lagos State
In Lagos state, a 69-year-old bus driver named Waidi Saheed was arrested for allegedly causing the death of a 10-year-old boy named Chukwudi. The incident occurred on the Iganmu-Mile 2 Expressway.
According to reports, Chukwudi and his family were waiting at a bus stop when the driver’s commercial bus hit them. Tragically, Chukwudi suffered fatal injuries.
The police responded swiftly and faced resistance from troublemakers while trying to move the child’s body.
They eventually took the body to the Yaba General Hospital morgue. The suspect is now in custody, and his bus has been impounded.
