EFCC Secures Conviction of Seven Internet Scammers in Ibadan
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s Ibadan Zonal Command has successfully convicted seven internet fraudsters.
The inmates, who faced separate crimes, pled guilty. They were sentenced to varied durations of community service and fined between N400,000 and N2 million.
They were also told to return their victims and surrender all recovered items to Nigeria’s federal government.
