Food Poisoning Incident at Lewes Prison: Six Hospitalized
Six people were taken to the hospital after eating the same meal at Lewes prison in Sussex, United Kingdom. Among them were three staff members and three prisoners.
None of them are believed to be in critical condition. The prison authorities are working with emergency services to address the suspected food poisoning incident.
HMP Lewes, where the incident occurred, is a category B prison that can house up to 624 prisoners in single and double cells.
