Labour Party’s Julius Abure Re-elected as National Chairman
Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), has been re-elected for a second term by all the delegates.
Deputy Governor Ikechukwu Emetu declared him the winner at the party’s national convention in Nnewi, Anambra State.
Abure has been in a dispute with NLC leadership led by Joe Ajaero. The NLC asked for Abure to step down as party chairman and for a new committee to organize a fair national convention for the party.
