Lagos arrests suspects for assaulting officials during the illegal structure removal. Several people have been captured in Lagos after assaulting government officers while removing illegal buildings in the Lekki/Ajah area.

Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, announced the arrests and stated that the government will punish the criminals.

The operation’s goal is to clear unlawful construction sites for the Lagos-Calabar Highway project and urban revitalization.
