Model Accuses Celebrity Photographer of Sexual Assault

Former U.S. model Alwantha Lawson has accused celebrity photographer Marc Baptiste of sexually assaulting her during a photo shoot in 2002.

Lawson, then a 22-year-old model, alleges that Baptiste forced her to undress completely and tried to make her masturbate for the camera.

When she refused, Baptiste allegedly sprayed her with a liquid and forcefully penetrated her with his fingers.

Lawson says Baptiste continued taking photos throughout the assault. She also claims he later blacklisted her from job opportunities in the industry.

These allegations are not the first against Baptiste, as he has faced previous accusations of unauthorized publishing of nude photos and verbal harassment.
