QPR and Al-Ettifaq Compete for Super Eagles Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has caught the attention of several clubs, including QPR and Al-Ettifaq, after his impressive performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Reports indicate that both Queens Park Rangers (from the EFL Championship) and Al-Ettifaq (from the Saudi Pro League) are interested in signing the 27-year-old goalkeeper.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano mentioned that Nwabali is a top target for these clubs, and Chippa United, his South African club, is open to considering offers during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite the transfer rumors swirling online, Nwabali remains focused on his current club, Chippa United, while waiting for concrete offers.

He clarified that he has only seen offers online and hasn’t received any official offers directly. Additionally, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, the former club of Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface, has also shown interest in Nwabali.
