The Brazilian footballer spent time in Spain, England and Italy during his career

Brazil, on the other hand, refuses to extradite its citizens, causing Italy to seek his arrest in Brazil.

Recently, Brazil’s Superior Court of Justice ruled 9-2 to uphold Robinho’s conviction, noting that he must complete his sentence in Brazil.

Robinho’s lawyer has hinted that he may file an appeal with Brazil’s Supreme Court on grounds of national sovereignty.

Despite denying any misconduct, Robinho faces the possibility of incarceration in his home country.
